Good for you for fighting through all the religious baggage and indoctrination!
Will you be able to get to the conference?
I see that the Irish papers are calling this the first world atheist convention, in spite of seven or eight Global Atheist Conventions in India and the Global Atheist Conference in Australia last year, not to mention annual conferences since 1995 by the Atheist Alliance International, which put on the shindig in Melbourne. Are they being picky about the names or just sloppy researchers? I suspect the latter.
Thanks Monado... Unfortunately I won't be able to go myself, but I hope to hear all about it or hope there are video's or podcasts available of it... I haven't read much Irish news as I live in Scotland, I think you are right in saying that it is probably 'sloppy researchers'... Take care my friend
