Hello I am trying to start up a support group for those that have left the church, and wanted to know if you know of any that already exist as I am wondering what would be the best place to start with advertisement and do you know of any materials that could help with healing from the damage done by the church towards the individual. Hello Auchincloss... Sorry I haven't got back to you before now, But I have not been well, and concentration is not good... May I ask where you are based? I do not know of any support group that exists here in Glasgow, or Scotland which is where I am and I would love to fined one myself! The first point in my Recovery was a book by Marlene Winell "Leaving The Fold"... she also has many videos on Youtube, you should look her up... I really don't know how best to advertise it, I'm sorry, but a few people suffering may very well have mental Health problems like myself, with depression etc... So maybe flyers at doctors surgeries or Mental Health Resource Centres... I do wish you well, and if I was in your vicinity I could try and help you maybe!
