Ugh...I know it kinda makes us look bad, but fuck the stupid cross at the World Trade Center. It is everything that is irrational, superstitious and NOT secular that is wrong with the world. An entire super huge building that is full of right angles and beams gets blown up because of religious extremism and in the remains is a cross section of two beams (when there was an entire building of cross sections of beams) and that is supposed to tell and inspire people that God is there. Say it isn't so, Sue. I'd like to think that people are better than that. If I remember, I'll write about this tomorrow. Anyways...
hope all is well across the pond. My little baby that I used to babysit 20 years ago is home from college (University of Aberdeen) right now and she brought a Scot's-boy with her. I'm scared to look at her facebook status. WTF. I'm getting old.
Kriss... I agree with you... fuck the stupid cross... Can't they see with there own eyes that Religion caused this tragedy in the first place... I really can't see the logic in turning to 'God' (if you are a believer) when he didn't exactly stop the tragedy from happening in the first place! I'd be like, "yeah, right God, I don't think so"...
